Meet Your Prenatal + Pediatric Experts

DR. JAIME MCAULIFFE

DC, CACCP

Growing up in a family that prioritized health and natural healing, Dr. Jaime had an early passion for health and wellness. Coming from a family of chiropractors and being exposed to the healing profession at a young age, she knew that one day she too would become a chiropractor. As a child, her dad frequently told her she had healing hands, and at the time that did not have much meaning, but now looking back she knew exactly what he meant. It was during chiropractic school where she not only met her husband, Dr. Connor, but also developed her love for all things pregnancy and childbirth. She spent countless hours learning, researching, and educating others on caring for women and children which led her to completing a variety of training and certifications. She completed an additional 200-hour educational program and is Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is also a birth doula, certified in the prenatal protocol, Webster Technique, and training with The Pediatric Experience. Given her extensive background in caring for women and children, she is one of the only individuals with her level of expertise in the area.

Her passion is empowering women on their motherhood journeys, supporting a mother’s body as she prepares for childbirth, and providing them with necessary resources so that they feel prepared and informed as they bring new life into the world. She also loves to watch football, cook, travel, and have date nights with Dr. Connor trying new places around Kansas City.

DR. CONNOR THOMAS

DC

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Connor was a multisport athlete. In high school, he played basketball, football, and ran track. During that time he sought out chiropractic care for his chronic migraines as he was getting multiple a week that were hindering both his athletic and academic performance. Shortly after starting care, his migraines became less intense and less frequent allowing him to play sports and focus in school. He went on to play football at a junior college before moving to Dallas, TX to begin chiropractic school. His personal experience with chiropractic opened his eyes to healing chronic illnesses without use of drugs or surgery and wants to share that with his community.

Dr. Connor is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) where he became certified in the prenatal protocol, Webster Technique, and is also training with The Pediatric Experience. Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Connor enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, playing golf, tennis, working out, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes!

  • HEATHER D.

I started prenatal chiropractic care at Your Family Chiropractic when I was in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy. I was experiencing pain in my sciatic nerve area. Within a few visits, all the pain was gone! I continued care through pregnancy and never had any other pain, plus a quick and smooth labor and delivery. Then my daughter had her first adjustment at 2 weeks old. I was so relieved when Dr. Jaime came to our house for that visit! Our daughter had been so fussy, it was hard to leave the house. She has been getting adjustments since then and is rarely fussy now and thriving!

We came to YFC because I wanted nervous system scans to have a baseline of where our nervous systems were at. My daughter has always been a good sleeper, but she’s had some struggles with constipation and lots of illness. After the scans, we had a clear picture of where the specific issues were and have been working to heal those areas. She gets sick way less often now and when she does, she heals so much faster than she previously did. She rarely struggles with constipation now! Your Family Chiropractic is truly centered around the whole family. My daughter literally gets adjusted WHILE she’s playing! YFC is amazing and has truly been life changing!

I sought pregnancy chiropractic care at Your Family Chiropractic when I found out my baby was breech at 35 weeks. After just three Webster technique chiropractic adjustments my baby flipped head down! I continued weekly adjustments from 36 weeks-40 weeks and had an easy, natural birth. The care I received from Dr. Jaime was a positive addition to my pregnancy, and I plan to visit her again with future pregnancies.
